Seven members of the Rotary Club of Antelope Valley attended the District 5300 Conference and Assembly at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California on the 11th and 12th of April.  After checking in at the Registration Table the members had a light continental breakfast in the main conference room.  Following check-in, the day’s program began with MC David Thorson Past President RC of Las Vegas introducing Gilda Moshir, DGE 5300.  Gilda introduced other dignitaries including: Dennis Franklin, DGN 5300, Craig Livingston, DGE 5320, and Luis Carranza, DGE 5340.  After introductions were completed, David Thorson presented a briefing on Rotary Governance before the audience moved to their individual breakout sessions.
  
After the morning breakout sessions, a light snack session was held.  Following the snack session, several club members attended breakout session #2 for Grant Certification Training.  At the completion of Grant Certification Training, Gilda Moshir, Craig Livingston, and Luis Carranza presented closing remarks and the Assembly was adjourned. 
 
Saturday was another full day of activities.  There was recognition for service to Rotary, recognition of Major Donors, recognition of The Four Way Test Speech Competitors, the Changing of the Guard, and special donations as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner activities.
