District Governor Dennis Franklin 2026-2027 Visits Our Club
This years' District Governor Dennis Franklin and his wife Tricia honored us with their presence at our October 14th Board meeting. Each year the newly elected District Governor visits every club in our district. Our district spreads across Southern California and Southern Nevada totaling 54 clubs and 1791 members (as of this writing).
Our meeting was well attended due to our President, Tina Borzage's hard work. Besides our members we had thirteen visitors which included Assistant Governor, Barbara Sellon, Rotaract President, Luis Lorios and our newest member Ashley Baylor along with her family and others.
Governor Franklin spoke and inspired us with stories on the lasting effects Rotary has had on young people who have given their time to attend a RYLA weekend and others who have been helped by the generosity of Rotarians throughout the years. Afterwards he pinned and welcomed our newest member Ashley Baylor into the Antelope Valley Rotary Club.
