Meeting Recap 03/22/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 22 March 2017. The meeting was called to order by President Chuck Church at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, Sam Garcia, Janice Garcia, Tina Borzage, Roseanna Budd, Yolanda Risch, Laureano Flores and Chuck Church. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 6:50.
The first order of business was to update the Club on the status of Super Build 2017. This far only Tina Borzage is attending from the Palmdale Club. The Build is scheduled for 6 May 2017 in Tecate, Mexico.
The next order of business was to discuss the upcoming Spring Blowout Sale in April. Sharon Freeman has started a general list of items that we will have for sale. This far the list includes: clothes, Xmas items, a foot massager, work boots, a suitcase and travel bag, 40 pairs of shoes, and a mountain bike.
Old Business:
Everyone was reminded of the AV Sunrise Rotary Funday Sunday Auction coming up
on 30 April at the AV Country Club. Tickets are $45 each or $75 per couple.
Everyone was reminded to register for District Assembly on 22 April 2017 on line.
There is no charge to attend. The event will run from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM in Victor
Valley.
