Meeting Recap 06/14/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 14 June 2017. The meeting was called to order by President Chuck Church at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Tina Borzage, Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Yolanda Risch, Sam Garcia, Janice Garcia and Chuck Church. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 6:45.
The first order of business was to update the status on the upcoming Demotion Party. Sharon reviewed the list of food and who was bringing what. Sharon will use her long tables rather than card tables since the number of attendees is approaching 40. Pork ribs, burgers and sausages will be the main entre selections. Pork and beans and potato salad will be the additional items. There will also be desert.
The second item of business was to reaffirm with everyone that the Club does not have any outstanding obligations. Tina indicated that everything has been paid for up to the next billing from Rotary International and District 5300.
The final item on the agenda was the re-submittal of the Walmart Grant request. Tina indicated that she had submitted the request.
