Meeting Recap 07/05/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their monthly Board meeting at Gino’s Italian Restaurant in Palmdale on 5 July 2017. Full details of the meeting will be presented at next month’s Board meeting when the minutes are read and approved. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Janice Garcia, Chuck Church and Sam Garcia. The formal meeting began at 6:45.
Per the agenda, the minutes of the June Board meeting were read by Janice Garcia. The minutes were approved. Sam Garcia read the Treasurer’s report for June. The report was approved.
Sam Garcia went over his goals for the year and discussed the upcoming Combined Club Governor’s Visit on August 12, 2017 at the Jethawk’s Stadium. Individual Club visits will also be scheduled.
Under Old Business:
2017-2018 Goals have been loaded in DacDb.
Under New Business:
The Club voted on the date of September 9, 2017 for the Oktoberfest at Hacienda
Lane Ranch. The date has been confirmed with Frances Lane, but we still need to
confirm the date with the band.
