Meeting Recap 07/26/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 26 July 2017. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:32 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Tina Borzage, Chuck Church, Janice Garcia and Sam Garcia. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 7:00.
The first item of business was to pass out flyers and tickets for the Oktoberfest. Most members had provided their approval on line. Sharon Freeman distributed the tickets and flyers for the event and the special raffle.
The second item of business was to discuss the immediate need for instruments and supplies for Bobby Oh at Antelope Elementary School. The Club agreed to support the effort, but asked for a list of items needed before sending any money. Sharon said that she would obtain a list and prices.
The last regular item of business came from Treasurer Tina Borzage who provided invoices to the Club Members for the first half of the 2017-2018 year membership fees.
Old Business:
Janice Garcia briefed the Club Members on the response from Union Bank regarding
the stolen debit card. All funds were replaced in our account at Union Bank.

Sam asked the Club Members to update their status on attendance for the District
Governor’s visit in August 12, 2017.
