Meeting Recap 08/02/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their monthly Board meeting at El Toreo West Restaurant in Palmdale on 2 August 2017. Full details of the meeting will be presented at next month’s Board meeting when the minutes are read and approved. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Tina Borzage, Janice Garcia, Chuck Church, Larry Flores and Sam Garcia. The formal meeting began at 6:45.
Per the agenda, the minutes of the July Board meeting were read by Janice Garcia. The minutes were approved.
Tina Borzage read the Treasurer’s report for July. The report was approved.
The primary item of discussion for the evening was the upcoming Oktoberfest. Sharon Freeman agreed to “sanitize” to address of the Oktoberfest flyers prior to distributing them on a citywide basis. Tickets for the special raffle were discussed again. The Club decided to consider an additional prize for the event. A flat screen TV was suggested as the item of choice.

It was mentioned that our RYLA students would be at the next meeting to discuss
their weekend at RYLA Camp.
