Meeting Recap 08/08/18
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their monthly Board meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 08 August 2018. Full details of the meeting will be presented at next month’s Board meeting when the minutes are read and approved. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:30 PM. Members in attendance were Chuck Church, Janice Garcia, Sharon Freeman, Tina Borzage, Yolanda Risch and Sam Garcia. The formal meeting began at 7:00 PM.
Secretary Janice Garcia read the Minutes from the July meeting. The Minutes were approved.
Tina Borzage presented the July Treasurer’s Report. The report was approved.
President Sam Garcia covered the RI and District 5300 Billings. Records say that we still owe $200 for the District Conference Hospitality Suite. Our understanding was that since no one from the Club was attending, we would not owe anything. We received a request for TLC attendees for 2018-2019. The Club decided to stay with RYLA only for 2018-2019.
The Club Members are still working on selling tickets for the Oktoberfest and special raffle. The event is scheduled for September 22, 2018 at Hacienda Lane Ranch.
