Meeting Recap 09/13/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 13 September 2017. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:55 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Tina Borzage, Chuck Church, Janice Garcia, Hollie Liebenow, Roseanna Budd and Sam Garcia. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 7:00.
The primary item of discussion for the evening was the upcoming Oktoberfest. Sharon Freeman updated the Club on the status of ticket sales. All but 4 of the 50 Bonus Raffle tickets have been sold. Once more the Club reviewed assignments and items we need to buy and/or bring to the event. Hot food preparation and maintenance was discussed. Other food items had previously been discussed and were accounted for. Dessert will be a German Chocolate cake. Extension cords, serving trays and ice chests were accounted for. We will need to contact John Martinez to get our Rotary signs for directions into Hacienda Lane Ranch. The plan is for club members to arrive about 11:00 AM to help set up round and rectangular tables at the ranch.
