Meeting Recap 11/01/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their monthly Board meeting at Gino’s Italian Restaurant in Palmdale on 1 November 2017. Full details of the meeting will be presented at next month’s Board meeting when the minutes are read and approved. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:45 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Chuck Church, Tina Borzage, Holly Liebenow, Janice Garcia, Yolanda Risch and Sam Garcia. The formal meeting began at 6:50 PM.
Per the agenda, the minutes of the October Board meeting were read by Janice Garcia. The minutes were approved.
Tina Borzage presented the October Treasurer’s Report. The report was approved.
The first item for general discussion was to discuss Tee Shirts for the Interact Club. Chuck requested a quote from a local vendor and submitted photos of what the Club had designed.
The second item of business was to discuss the check received from the Supervisor’s Office for last year’s grant. Tina will deposit the check.
There was nothing new on the status of helpers for the Shopping Spree. Everyone will make calls this week to update the status of their helpers.
The Club needs to reserve Gino’s for the 13th of December for the Christmas Dinner/Party.
