Meeting Recap 11/09/16

The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler Restaurant in Palmdale on 9 November 2016. The meeting was called to order by President Chuck Church at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Tina Borzage and David Maddock. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 6:50.

Aaron Turk (Eagle Scout candidate) was our guest speaker for the meeting. Aaron briefed the club on his Eagle Scout project which was to paint and trim the office area at the Grace Resource Center in Lancaster. Aaron provided photos of the activities performed by himself and his Boy Scout team. The Club reminded Aaron to talk to his fellow scouts about coming to our Club to obtain help when they get to their Eagle Scout projects.

Tina Borzage presented her updated report on our recently completed Oktoberfest. Final income, expenses and profit numbers were provided along with a list of all deposits made to our bank account.

There was no Old Business.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
