Meeting Recap 02/07/18
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their monthly Board meeting at Gino’s Italian Restaurant in Palmdale on 7 February 2018. Full details of the meeting will be presented at next month’s Board meeting when the minutes are read and approved. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:30 PM. Members in attendance were: David Maddock, Chuck Church, Janice Garcia, Holly Liebenow and Sam Garcia. The formal meeting began at 6:45 PM.
Secretary Janice Garcia read the Minutes from the January meeting. The Minutes were approved.
Chuck Church presented the January Treasurer’s Report for Tina Borzage. The report was approved.
The first item of discussion was the upcoming PETS weekend. David Maddock is set to attend at the LAX Marriott.
President Sam Garcia briefly discussed the upcoming President’s Advance (Feb 22-23) and Foundation Gala (Feb 24) at the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
The Club is still searching for a male student to attend RYLA Camp. Sharon Freeman will be contacting Barbara Frazier to see if Lancaster has an extra male student to attend the camp.
Old Business:
The upcoming Spring Blowout Sale at 4 Points is set for April 15th.
New Business:
