Meeting Recap 06/06/18
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their monthly Board meeting at Gino’s Italian Restaurant in Palmdale on 06 June 2018. Full details of the meeting will be presented at next month’s Board meeting when the minutes are read and approved. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:55 PM. Members in attendance were: Chuck Church, Janice Garcia, Sharon Freeman, Tina Borzage and Sam Garcia. The formal meeting began at 7:00 PM.
Secretary Janice Garcia read the Minutes from the May meeting. The Minutes were approved.
Tina Borzage presented the May Treasurer’s Report. The report was approved.
President Sam Garcia briefly reviewed the upcoming events. They included the RI Convention in Canada and the upcoming end of the year. Since Sam will be President again in 2018-2019 it was decided to forego the Demotion Party. We will just have a regular meeting.
The Club continued planning for this year’s Oktoberfest. The two main items are selecting a date when the band and the venue are both available. September 22, 2018 was selected as the date for the event.
