Meeting Recap 07/25/18
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 25 July 2018. The meeting was called to order by Sam Garcia at 6:30 PM. Members in attendance were: Janice Garcia, Chuck Church, Tina Borzage, Sharon Freeman, Holly Liebenow, Yolanda Risch, Rosanna Budd and Sam Garcia. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 7:00 PM.
David Maddock is still recovering at home. He is looking forward to getting back to the Club meetings.
Sharon Freeman briefed the Club Members on the latest information regarding Oktoberfest. Tickets for both the event and special raffle have been distributed. No decision yet on whether to switch from roast pork to roast chicken.
Sam Garcia mentioned that a possible new member may be attending our meeting. Her name is Elizabeth McDonoughberry. We need to be sure to have a membership application available at our meetings and at Oktoberfest.
Tina Borzage will be collecting checks for membership dues for the first half of the 2018-2019 Rotary year at our meetings for the next few weeks.
