MEETING RECAP 8/31/16
 
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s in Palmdale on 31 August 2016.  The meeting was called to order by President Chuck Church at 6:30 PM.  Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, Tina Borzage, David Maddock, Brandon Youngblood, Lori Troise and Chuck Church.   
 
Per the agenda, we checked the status of ticket sales for our upcoming Oktoberfest. 
Brandon is trying to work up a new project that the Club can participate in as a fund raiser.
 
Chuck confirmed the date of October 12th for Wen Chen to brief the Club on the status of Human Rights in China.
 
David Maddock had requested time to address the Club, however since there were so few members in attendance we deferred until after the September Board meeting.    There was no Old Business or New Business.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
