Meeting Recap 09/19/18
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 19 September 2018. The meeting was called to order by President Sam Garcia at 6:40 PM. Members in attendance were Chuck Church, Sharon Freeman, Tina Borzage, Yolanda Risch, Holly Liebenow, guest Jim Miceli and Sam Garcia. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 7:00 PM.
Everyone welcomed Jim Miceli again. It is always great when Jim stops by for our meeting when he has business in the Antelope Valley.
Sharon Freeman updated the Club Members on Oktoberfest. To date 127 tickets have been sold for the event. Plans are all in place for food preparation. All food has been purchased and only needs to be cooked. The Lancaster Interact Club will be providing four volunteers to help setup and sell raffle tickets at the event. Everything was reviewed again from our Oktoberfest Check List.
There are roughly 22 tickets remaining to be sold for our Bonus Raffle for a pair of Chargers Football tickets for the 49’ers game on the 30th of September. We will plan on selling these tickets at the event before the drawing.
President Sam Garcia reviewed the weekly emails with the Club. There was nothing significant to report on.
