Meeting Recap 9/28/16

The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler Restaurant in Palmdale on 28 September 2016. The meeting was called to order by President Chuck Church at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Sharon Freeman, Tina Borzage, Sam Garcia, Janice Garcia, Yolanda Risch, John Martinez and Chuck Church. There were no guests in attendance. The flag salute, invocation and 4 Way Test were done prior to the formal start of the meeting began at 7:00.

Sharon Freeman collected funds from the sale of Oktoberfest tickets and raffle tickets.

The District Governor’s visit is scheduled for 07 December 2016 for our Club.

The Club decided to have Mr. Tambe visit our club and provide additional details on the Rotary Youth Exchange Scholarship Sponsorship. Chuck Church will contact Mr. Tambe and target 19 October for the visit and briefing.

There was no Old Business or New Business. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
