PALMDALE ROTARY mEMBER HITS MILESTONE AT bLOOD DRIVE

An All Antelope Valley Rotary Blood Drive was held at Antelope Valley Hospital on January 19, 2016. Ellen Gaines, President Elect for Lancaster Sunrise Rotary and Coordinator at the AVH Blood Donor Center, hosted the event for all Rotary Clubs in the Antelope Valley. Over 25 donors responded and donated blood for the drive. Among those donating was Chuck Church President Elect for Palmdale Rotary and long time donor. This was Chuck's 100th donation at AVH dating back to 1994. To celebrate his 100th donation Ellen presented Chuck (pictured above) with a Ceremonial Centennial Rubber Duck Award in honor of his milestone.

The AVH Blood Donor Center is opened Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week for donations and the first and third Saturdays of the month. For more information about donating please call 661 949-5622.
