After a very busy first half of the Rotary year, the Rotary Club of Antelope Valley held their annual Christmas Dinner and Gift Exchange at Gino’s Restaurant in Palmdale. It was a fun filled evening with an initial Christmas word scramble game while waiting for everyone to arrive. Then a delicious dinner of Chicken Parmesan, Penne Pasta Primavera, Lasagna with Meat, Garlic Bread, and Salad. Once dinner was done, the gift exchange began. This year there was a new twist to the exchange. Instead of a number selection for your turn at the gift table and two possible steals, each person selected a package from the table by random draw and then Sam Garcia read the Christmas Lawyer story with multiple passes of each gift to the left or to the right as the story progressed. At the end of the story, you opened the package in front of you and that was your gift. It was a fun filled evening of fellowship and Christmas cheer.
