The Rotary Club of Antelope Valley hosted its 14th Annual Oktoberfest and 10th consecutive event at beautiful Hacienda Lane Ranch in Palmdale on October 6, 2024. Once again Frances Lane provided the venue for this fabulous event. Over 100 Rotarians, family, friends, and guests attended the event and enjoyed the food, drink, music, fun, and raffles.
Anton Schnitzel and the Merry Makers as always provided the entertainment. All the traditional polka songs and Oktoberfest music was enjoyed as well as requests from the audience. Food included Brats, German meat balls, German potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and of course German Chocolate Cake for dessert. German Beer was available as well as wine, soft drinks, water, and coffee.
Lancaster High School Interact Club Members provided additional help by selling raffle tickets, serving on the food line, and distributing raffle baskets to the winning ticket holders. The weather was perfect for the event. Although it was warm, all the tables were in the shade for a majority of the afternoon. It was a great afternoon of food, drinks, and fun.
