The Rotary Club of Antelope Valley hosted their 3rd Fiesta Day on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Hacienda Lane Ranch in Palmdale.  Frances Lane again provided her home for this event.  Over 60 friends, relatives, and guests attended the fund raiser event.  Proceeds from the event got to the Club’s annual contribution to support Breast Cancer Screening with our Lindavista Sister Rotary Club in Mexico City.

Food included tacos stuffed with beef, chicken, pork, or elk meat along with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, salsa, and chilis.  Refired beans and rice were also included with dessert and coffee.  Drinks included delicious margaritas, sangria, beer, wine, and soft drinks.  After lunch, the Club had the pleasure of having several members of District 5300 Leadership speak to the crowd.  Mark Mariscal, District Foundation Chair, spoke to the audience on the importance of the Rotary Foundation.  Current District Governor Michael Soden and District Governor Elect Mike Driebe spoke to the audience about the significance of Rotary and Rotary International in the community and the world.  The afternoon concluded with selecting the Raffle Basket winners, the Silent Auction winners, and the Live Auction winners.

Lots of fun, food, and fellowship was enjoyed by all who attended.
