The New Vista Middle School has Alternative Education programs with two classrooms that house students who are either on 1-3 day suspension or a 10-week placement.  Supplies are desperately needed for these students.  The Rotary Club of Antelope Valley has provided some very necessary supplies to help students in these classes.

Games that were purchased will assist in training the students to interact with one another in a non-violent way.  Art materials that were purchased will allow students to express themselves in a creative manner.  Sports equipment that was purchased will be used in the 10-week program for exercise and interaction.  The 10-week program will work with 12 students at a time for 7 hours per day with 2 adult supervisors.  It is anticipated that these programs will continue to develop and expand as needed in the Antelope Valley.  Supplies and Sports Equipment were presented to Superintendent Paul Marietti on March 18th at the school.  The Rotary Club of Antelope Valley is proud to be able to support this much needed educational effort.
