On March 15, 2025, Rotary District 5300 partnered again with Grocery Outlet, Shelter Box, St. Vincent De Paul, The Red Cross, and Blue Tape Ministries to provide relief items for victims of the recent Altadena Fire.

Blue Tape Ministries provided burritos to all volunteers and all participants who attended the event from 8 am to 3 pm.  The Grocery Outlet parking lot was again filled with fresh produce, household items, baby food, toiletries, clothes, and other items for distribution to the fire victims.  Several local Rotary Clubs participated in the event as well as the AV Rotary Club from 60 miles away.  Tina Borzage, Hudson Horner, and Hudson’s friend Ernesto participated again from the AV Club.  District Governor Mike Driebe, District Governor Elect Gilda Moshir, Governor Elect Designate Dennis Franklin, District Foundation Chair Mark Mariscal, and Past District Governor Raghada Khoury all participated in the event.

Out of town visitors Deb and Carl Vander Haar from South Dakota, who participated in the February event joined in again to help support the Altadena Fire Victims.
