On Saturday, February 15, 2025, the Rotary Club of Antelope Valley assisted the AV Vets4Veterans Club at their monthly food distribution event. The Rotary Club of Antelope Valley selected Vets4Veterans as the recipient for one of their District 5300 Grants for 2024-2025. AV Vets4Veterans supports Veterans with several programs such as: Restart Healing, Restart Housing, Restart Scholarships, Restart Immediate Need, Veterans Training, Surviving Spouse Program and Monthly Food Distribution.
At the conclusion of the food sort and packaging, Antelope Valley Rotary President Joshua Konrad presented a check to AV Vets4Veterans President Gerry Rice to purchase food for distribution to needy Veteran Families. It was a fun project and AV Rotary was pleased to be able to support such a needy program. A big shout out goes to President Gerry Rice, Megan Hilzendeger, John Parsamyan, and Tony Tortolano for their continuing work to support Veteran families in the Antelope Valley.
