WE ARE LIVE ON THE 14 FREEWAY!
Due to the dedication of our Rotary member's, Vickie Ryan and Gene Melchers, and the generosity of Lemar Advertising we are now Live on the 14 freeway near L8. It is true when they say, 'persistence wins the race' because that is what it took for Vickie to receive the generous donation from Larmar Advertising. They donated a month long Permanent Digital Billboard to our fundraising event and Gene kept an eagle-eye on the bidding and made sure he won it. Gene worked along with Lamar and came up with a beautiful sign which includes all five of the Rotary clubs in the Antelope Valley. This billboard will run from October 5th to November 1st, which means that Rotary will be visible to 130,521 weekly drivers. The ad will run every 48 seconds and will result in a run of 1,800 ads in a 24-hour period. So, when you are driving South, as in the picture below, look over to your left after passing Avenue L and see what should become a permanent fixture in the A.V.
