In the ongoing effort to complete the Rotary Club of Antelope Valley District Grant to provide motorized scooters to the Wheels for Warriors program, Joe Comacho attended the Rotary Club of Antelope Valley weekly meeting and displayed one of the scooters being provided. Joe briefly described the Wheels for Warriors program to the Club Members at the meeting. After his presentation, the Club presented a check for $2,000.00 to the Wheels for Warriors program for the purchase of six motorized scooters. The Rotary Club of Antelope Valley will continue to work with Joe Comacho and John Meyer from Adopt At Risk Veteran (AARV.org) to select six Veterans to receive the scooters. Once the recipients are determined, the presentation date(s) will be selected and the Veterans will receive their scooters.
