Meeting Recap 05/10/17
The Rotary Club of Palmdale conducted their weekly meeting at Sizzler’s Restaurant in Palmdale on 10 May 2017. The meeting was called to order by President Chuck Church at 6:35 PM. Members in attendance were: Tina Borzage, Sharon Freeman, David Maddock, Yolanda Risch, Sam Garcia, Janice Garcia and Chuck Church. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The formal meeting began at 6:45.
The first order of business was to have Tina Borzage report to the Club on her trip to Tacate, Mexico for Superbuild 2017. Tina briefed the club on the activities of the Suuperbuild. The home was completed early ahead of the 5:00 PM established completion time. Tina sent pictures of the progress of the house and Chuck Church printed out the pictures for everyone to see. It was hard work but fun to be working with other Rotarians.
The second item of business was to establish a theme for food at the Demotion Party scheduled for June 24, 2017 at Sharon Freeman’s home. Pork ribs, burgers and hot dogs will be the main entre selections. Pork and beans, green salad and pasta salad will be the additional items. There will also be desert. Sharon generated a list of items and who would provide each item.
Old Business:
Chuck forwarded the signed MOU for 2017-2018 Grants to Mike Driebe.

Sam still needs to load 2018 goals into the system (Rotary Club Central/dacDb).
